What's new on GroovyGirls.com?
GroovyGirls.com is the same fun, free site it has always been - only better! We've added new, improved online environments and activities for all users, as well as exclusive RSVP features for users who own Groovy Girls RSVP Dolls or Groovy Girls Pets. If your child has a Groovy Girls RSVP product, she can enter her RSVP Code after registering or logging in to access additional fun activities, virtual items and content based on the product associated with that code*. What does GroovyGirls.com offer me and my child?
GroovyGirls.com is a safe place for your child to express herself and interact with other girls. Thanks to our pre-formed chat menus, your child can create and receive only fun, safe questions and comments. In addition to safety, our site offers your child a chance to exercise her imagination as she:

Is my child old enough to use this site?
While GroovyGirls.com is designed to entertain and engage girls between the ages of four and ten, we welcome users of all ages. Also, it's free for everyone to join our site, whether your child owns a Groovy Girls Doll or not.
How often does GroovyGirls.com get updated?

What is RSVP?
RSVP stands for: Respect, Self-expression, Values and Play. These core ideas serve as the foundation for our Groovy Girls Dolls and for our web site. With innovative designs and imaginative play options, we help girls express their unique sense of style, understand diversity and form a sense of individuality.
What types of Groovy Girls RSVP products are available?
Currently there are Groovy Girls RSVP Dolls and Groovy Girls RSVP Pets available online and in-store. Each Groovy Girls RSVP product comes with a pink RSVP hang tag in the shape of an invitation envelope attached. Inside every envelope is an RSVP Code that provides access to exclusive environments and items on GroovyGirls.com.

Remember to hold onto your child's RSVP Code after it has been entered on our site in case it is needed again in the future.
Will you continue to sell other Groovy Girls Dolls?
Yes. Groovy Girls RSVP Dolls and Groovy Girls RSVP Pets are special types of Groovy Girls items that we offer in addition to our other dolls and products. While our new site has fun extras for RSVP users, we also offer tons of fun, free activities and environments to all user types, even those who don't own any Groovy Girls products.
What does my child get by entering an RSVP Code?
As an RSVP member, your child will receive access to exclusive online RSVP Parties and games, can visit the Creation Station to create hundreds of new outfits, can earn Party Points and collect rewards, and will receive extra Groovy Girls Tunes to play-and download!
And, with an RSVP Doll, she'll also get:
- Her Doll's outfit added to her Closet, Creation Station and Dance Floor,
- Additional items added to her Creation Station per doll*
- A song from her Doll added to her Mod Pod and Dance Floor,
- And, she can chat with her Doll on her Groovy Girls Laptop-what fun!
With an RSVP Pet, your child can also:
- Call her pet to her Mod Pod any time,
- Play with her pet and show off super-cool tricks,
- Mix and match a t-shirt from her pet in the Creation Station-and wear it wherever!

What does my child get with each additional RSVP Code?
Your child only needs to enter one RSVP Code to access Groovy Girls Tunes downloads, the Creation Station, RSVP games, Party Points and all of the RSVP online parties-there will be new parties launching throughout the year.
Each different Groovy Girls RSVP Doll also provides access to exclusive online extras such as her outfit, new Creation Station items, a cool Groovy Girls Tune, and more. With every RSVP Doll Code entered, your child gets even more of these exclusive items!*
With Each different Groovy Girls RSVP Pet, your child gets a new friend to play with in her Mod Pod-and awesome new tricks to show off. And, she'll get a t-shirt picturing her new pet added to her Creation Station, to mix-and-match as she likes.
How Do Party Points Work?
Each user who enters an RSVP code gets access to Party Points and rewards. Users may earn up to 100 Party Points per day by completing four daily activities listed in the Party Points navigation and in the "My Party Points" area of their Groovy Girls Laptop located in their Mod Pod. All users are provided with the same daily activities--and, additional bonus points are awarded each time an RSVP Code is entered.
At pre-determined point levels, users earn digital rewards. These can include new furniture and patterns for their Mod Pod, new Creation Station styles to mix-and-match, and even new RSVP outfits to wear throughout the site.
Even better, the more Party Points accrued by our site members, the more Groovy Girls dolls we donate to charity annually. Learn more about our Party for Good program.
My child doesn't have an RSVP Code. Can she still use the site?
Yes. We welcome all girls to enjoy our site. After registering for a basic account, your child will be able to participate in many fun activities, including:
- Playing in her new-and-improved Mod Pod
- Chatting on her Groovy Girls® Laptop
- Posing with pals in the Photo Studio
- Hitting the Dance Floor
- Meeting new friends from around the world at the Posh Party
- And more!
Where can I buy Groovy Girls RSVP Dolls and Groovy Girls RSVP Pets?

Do RSVP Codes expire?
No. Your child can enter her RSVP Code at any time. If we retire or change certain RSVP online features in the future, we'll keep all users in mind to ensure that they continue to enjoy a fun, valuable RSVP experience.
My Child's Account and Safety
Is the site safe for my child?
Yes. We pride ourselves on ensuring your child's safety on our web site. Our chat system offers your child and other users a wide variety of pre-formed questions and answers. This system ensures users can't ask for or share personal information. We also filter user-created nicknames to keep improper language off our site. For information regarding the user data collected during registration, please visit our Privacy section.
What type of personal information do you collect from my child during registration?
During registration, your child will only be required to create a unique Nickname and Password. The following information is also requested, but not required: Location (Country, and in the case of U.S. residents, State), Birthday, Age, and Parent email address. What types of filters do you use to guard my child from "bad language" on the site?
Our safe chat system doesn't need to be monitored or filtered because it only allows your child to access pre-formed, safe questions and answers created by Manhattan Toy. We do not allow personal or inappropriate information to be shared, just fun!
And, because nicknames are displayed on the site, we filter language and characters submitted via the "Nickname" field during registration to ensure that email addresses aren't entered and language remains clean.
Is my child safe when chatting on GroovyGirls.com?
Yes. The GroovyGirls.com chatting system is 100% safe. Users can only choose from safe, pre-formed questions and answers and can't enter their own text. It's a fun way for users to get to know one another and make new friends around the world without sharing personal or inappropriate information.
Where is the chat tool located on the site?
Your child can chat with other users one-on-one or as a group using her Groovy Girls Laptop, a feature found in her Mod Pod. She can also chat with other site members at any of the parties she has access to on the site.
Who can my child chat with on the site?
Your child can chat with other site members in the GroovyGirls.com party environments and on her Groovy Girls Laptop. If she had entered a Groovy Girls RSVP Doll Code, she can also chat with her RSVP Doll one-on-one in the same safe environment.
What type of personal information do you display on the site?
We display users' nicknames and, if provided, location (Country, and, in the case of U.S. residents, State) in their user information windows. This allows users to remember their buddies when they return to the site and to enjoy the excitement of interacting with our international user base.
Can I change or update my child's GroovyGirls.com account information?
Yes. Simply go to Your Child's Experience. Next, log in using your child's nickname and password. You'll then be directed to a page where you can update and save your child's account information or delete your child's account. Please note that if you delete your child's account, her Character, Mod Pod settings and RSVP extras will be lost.

Will I be contacted by the site?
If your child gives us your email address during registration, we'll email you to let you know that your child has registered for GroovyGirls.com. We will also send lost passwords to this address when requested, and, we may also contact you with product updates from time to time. If you'd like to sign up for notifications about specific products, simply visit the Stay In Touch page. If you wish to discontinue receiving emails, click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any product email you receive.
Is the site educational?
Yes. GroovyGirls.com teaches your child how to engage with other children through our safe chatting environments. Your child can also practice social customs, like inviting others to parties, playing games, putting together outfits and even recycling. For added fun, we have included offline activities that help you and your child enjoy some creative learning time together.
