What if I forgot my nickname?
Sorry, we don't store nicknames. Be sure to print out and save your account information after your register.
What if I forgot my password?
If you forget your password, simply: Click on "Log In." Next, enter your nickname and click on "Forget your password?" If we have your parent's email address on file, we will email your password to you. If you're an RSVP Member, you can log in using your nickname and one of your RSVP Codes. (You may then visit the For Parents section to view and/or update your password.)
Can I change my nickname?
Yes. You can update your nickname by visiting the For Parents section.
Can I change my password?

I am unable to log into GroovyGirls.com. What should I do?
If you are unable to log in to the site, verify that the nickname and password being entered are correct (both are case sensitive – be sure your CAPS LOCK key is not on.) You may also log in using your nickname and a registered RSVP code in place of your password. (You may then visit the For Parents section to view and/or update your password.)

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account by visiting the For Parents section. Remember, if you delete your account, your character, Mod Pod settings and RSVP Codes extras will get deleted too.

If you entered a new RSVP Code for a specific Groovy Girls RSVP Doll or Pet that you have already entered a code for, you won't get any new items.* If you correctly entered a code for a different Groovy Girls RSVP product and didn't get new RSVP extras, or the code is not working please ensure that you are logged in under your account nickname and password and attempt to re-enter that code. If you still experience issues, please write, phone or email Manhattan Toy to ensure that the code is not associated with another account.

One or all areas of site are running slow and/or freezing up. What should I do?
If the site is running slowly, it may be very busy. Waiting for a short period to try again may help. You may also want to log out of GroovyGirls.com using the flower button in the upper left of each page and re-log in to. If you are still experiencing issues, make sure that your computer meets the following minimum requirements:

The site isn't working, what should I do?
If the site does not seem to be working, try closing the site and clearing your browser's cache. If the site is still not working, we apologize for the brief down time and assure you that it will be back up shortly.
How do I clear my cache?
In Firefox
• Click the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser and select "Clear Private Data..."
• Select the "Cache" checkbox.
• Click "Clear Private Data Now."
In Internet Explorer 6
• Click the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser, and select "Internet Options."
• Click the "General" tab at the top of the dialogue box.
• Click "Delete Files" under "Temporary Internet files."
• Select "Delete all offline content" by checking the box.
• Click "OK."
In Internet Explorer 7
• Click "Tools" > "Internet Options."
• Select the "General" tab.
• Click "Delete" under "Browsing History."
• Under "Temporary Internet Files," click "Delete Files."
• Click "Delete Cookies."
• Click "Yes."
In Safari
• Go up to the "Safari" menu.
• Select "Empty Cache."
• Click "Empty" in the dialogue box.
I am receiving a message that the site is busy. What should I do?
GroovyGirls.com may show a "busy" message when there are a lot of users on the site. In this case it is best to wait awhile and try again. In fewer instances, a "busy" message will appear if there is a site update underway (which typically last less than 10 minutes), or, if the site is blocked because of access to port 9898 via a system firewall. If you suspect there may be a firewall issues, follow your firewall's manual to allow port 9898 (TCP) communication both ways for access to the site.
When I log in, I am receiving a message that tells me I am already logged on to a different computer. What should I do?
First, ensure that you did not log into the web site from another computer and forget to log out. Next, verify that you have logged out of all instances of the site on your current computer. Once you have done so, the system will reset within 10 minutes, and you will be able to log in. In the future remember to always log out using the flower in the upper left of the site when you are done playing.
I can't see all of part of the screen. What should I do?
Windows 98/2000/XP Users:
1. Right-click on your desktop.
2. Select "Properties" from the menu that appears.
3. You should now see your Display Properties Control Panel.
4. Click on the "Settings" tab.
5. Find your "Screen Resolution" slider in the middle of this panel. Slide this to the right, until you get to 1024x768. Press "OK".
6. Your monitor will change to its new settings. You should be able to see everything now!
Windows Vista Users
1. Right-click on your desktop.
2. Click "Personalize" from the menu that appears.
3. Next, click "Display Settings" at the bottom of the list.
4. Use the slider bar to select your desired screen resolution (1024x768 or higher.)
5. Click OK.
6. Your monitor will change to its new settings. You should be able to see everything now!
Mac Users
1. Click on the Apple menu at the top left-hand corner of the screen and choose System Preferences from the drop-down menu.
2. Select "Displays."
3. Select 1024 x 768 (or a higher resolution if it is compatible with your monitor.)
4. Your monitor will change to its new settings. You should be able to see everything now!
How do I log out from the site?
To log out, simply click on the Groovy Girls logo in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. You can log back in any time!
What happens if I don't log out from the site?
You will be automatically logged out after 10 minutes of inactivity.
